Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: By 2028, basic achievement of national standardization and interconnection of public computing power.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Calculation Power Interconnection Action Plan". It proposes to establish a relatively complete system of calculation power interconnection standards, identification, and rules by 2026. In terms of facility interconnection, it will promote new high-performance transmission protocols to improve the level of network interconnection between calculation nodes. In terms of resource sharing, a national, regional, and industry calculation power interconnection platform will be built to unify and gather public calculation power identification, achieving the interconnection of public calculation resources of top calculation companies nationwide. In terms of business interconnection, it will promote the interconnection of various businesses such as calculation, storage, and network, realizing cross-entity, cross-architecture, and cross-regional demand and supply scheduling of calculation power. In terms of application scenarios, pilot testing of the Calculation Power Internet will be conducted to empower industries with universal access to calculation resources. By 2028, the basic standardization and interconnection of public calculation power nationwide will be achieved, gradually forming a Calculation Power Internet equipped with intelligent perception, real-time discovery, and on-demand access.
