Fuel tanks damaged, Ecuador's largest oil refinery enters emergency state.

The state oil company of Ecuador announced on May 29th that the country's largest oil refinery, Esmeraldas Refinery, has entered into an emergency state. The Ecuadorian oil company stated that a fire accident earlier this week caused damage to key fuel storage tanks on the refinery premises. Therefore, they have been forced to enter into an emergency state to strengthen the joint response of all relevant departments.
