China Council for the Promotion of International Trade: In April, the total amount of RCEP certificates of origin visas signed by the national trade promotion system was 859 million US dollars, an increase of 25.33% year-on-year.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held its regular press conference in May, with spokesperson Zhao Ping introducing that in April 2025, the national CCPIT system issued a total of 711,500 certificates, including certificates of origin, ATA carnets, and business certificates, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.45%. In April 2025, the national CCPIT system's RCEP certificates of origin had a visa amount of 859 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 25.33%; the number of visas issued was 30,756, a year-on-year increase of 26.93%; and the number of companies applying for certificates was 4,522, a year-on-year increase of 17.18%. This indicates that a large number of foreign trade enterprises are actively utilizing preferential policies, including those of the RCEP, to actively explore diversified markets, cope with external environments, and meet risks and challenges.
