iPhone 17 standard version screen exposed: 6.12 6.27 inches, 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate

On May 30th, Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), posted a tweet on the X platform, sharing the screen size adjustments of the Apple iPhone 17 series models. The standard iPhone 17 model's screen will increase from 6.12 inches to 6.27 inches, equivalent to the current iPhone 16 Pro screen size. The so-called thinnest model, iPhone 17 Air, will be equipped with a 6.55-inch screen, slightly smaller than the 6.7-inch iPhone 16 Plus, but still rounded up by Apple to 6.6 inches. In contrast, the screen sizes of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max remain unchanged at 6.27 inches and 6.86 inches, respectively, consistent with the iPhone 16 Pro series. The source also revealed that the four models of the Apple iPhone 17 series will all support a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate and be equipped with a 24-megapixel front camera and a more powerful A19 chip.
