The independent analysis company Artificial Analysis @ArtificialAnlys has concluded that the DeepSeek R1-0528 model and API have surpassed xAI, Meta, and Anthropic, alongside Google to become the world's second largest artificial intelligence laboratory, and have become the undisputed leader in the open-source weight domain. The score of DeepSeek R1 0528 version in the Artificial Analysis intelligence index has risen from 60 points to 68 points. This improvement is comparable to the gap between OpenAI's o1 model and o3 model.
