On May 28, the China Futures Association released data showing that in April, a total of 150 futures companies nationwide achieved a total operating income of 3.073 billion yuan and a net profit of 785 million yuan. In comparison, both the operating income and net profit of futures companies in April showed varying degrees of decline year-on-year and month-on-month. The data shows that in March of this year, the operating income and net profit of futures companies were 3.699 billion yuan and 1.417 billion yuan respectively; in April of last year, the operating income and net profit of futures companies were 3.263 billion yuan and 827 million yuan respectively.
