Morgan Asset Management's fixed income chief: No intention to purchase long-term US Treasury bonds

Bob Michele, Global Head of Fixed Income at Morgan Asset Management, said on Thursday that he has no intention of buying long-term US Treasury bonds. "I don't want to be the person standing in front of the steamroller right now, so I plan to cram into the middle part of the curve. There, I have plenty of opportunities to invest in credit markets, securitization, and foreign bond markets," Michele said. "I'll let others help stabilize the long end."
