Shanghai Pudong has released 16 policies to support the development of the artificial intelligence industry. The maximum amount of support for individual projects can reach the billion-yuan level.

On May 29th, during the 2025 Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Developer Conference and International Humanoid Robot Skills Competition, in order to support the development of Shanghai's artificial intelligence industry, Pudong New Area of Shanghai released a package of support policies focusing on industry support policies, talent support, and other aspects. During the conference, Pudong New Area officially announced 16 policies to support the artificial intelligence industry. The policies mention providing up to 20 million yuan in funding support for key core technology research, new research institutions, and innovative centers of large enterprises, encouraging breakthroughs in artificial intelligence technology. At the application level, efforts are being made to support the integration and implementation of artificial intelligence technology in the industry and market, with the highest single project support amount reaching the billion level.
