Douyin Group establishes a short video copyright center.

On May 29th, ByteDance announced the establishment of a Short Drama Copyright Center during an internal communication meeting, with the overall business reporting to Zhang Chao. It is reported that the specific action of this organizational adjustment is to integrate the original BD teams of short dramas from Douyin and Hongguo into a more comprehensive business unit called the "Short Drama Copyright Center," which will provide short drama content to platforms such as Hongguo and Douyin. In addition, the Short Drama Copyright Center will also be responsible for collaborating with short drama creators. After this adjustment, all collaborations related to short dramas within ByteDance will require approval from the Copyright Center; the Copyright Center will be responsible for the supply of short drama content to platforms such as Hongguo and Douyin.
