Chen Wenqing attended the 13th International Conference of Security Affairs High Representatives and the 10th Meeting of the China-Russia Law Enforcement Security Cooperation Mechanism in Russia.

Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, Chen Wenqing, attended the 13th International Conference of Senior Representatives on Security Affairs in Russia on the 28th and delivered a speech. Representatives from 126 countries and international organizations attended the meeting. Chen Wenqing said that President Xi Jinping has put forward a global security initiative, holding high the banner of cooperation, innovation, rule of law, and win-win, providing important guidance for gathering global security forces. China is willing to work hand in hand with the international community to practice a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security concept, jointly address various risks and challenges, and jointly build a world of universal security. Chen Wenqing also separately attended meetings with the delegations of the BRICS countries and members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and held bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations of some participating countries to reach consensus on strengthening international security cooperation and improving global security governance. On the 27th, Chen Wenqing and Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Patrushev, jointly chaired the tenth meeting of the China-Russia Law Enforcement Security Cooperation Mechanism.
