A research team led jointly by scientists from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia has developed the fastest quantum random number generator to date based on international standards, with a generation speed thousands of times faster than other QRNGs. This breakthrough will bring revolutionary changes to sectors such as healthcare, finance, and national defense that rely on high-level data security. The related research findings have been published in the latest issue of the journal "Optical Express".
