A 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in the western waters of Mexico, with no tsunami warning issued at the moment.

On May 27th, local time, according to the Mexican National Seismological Service, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at around 15:59 in the sea about 388 kilometers southeast of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The earthquake had a depth of about 10 kilometers. The earthquake early warning system in Mexico did not activate, and no tsunami warning has been issued. Currently, there are no reports of casualties or property damage.
