Huaxi Securities research report pointed out that, according to calculations, the market space for urban pet consumption in China is expected to reach 478.7 billion yuan by 2030, with a corresponding CAGR of 6.9% from 2024 to 2030. In 2024, pet food consumption accounted for approximately 52.8% of total urban pet consumption in China, while pet supplies/pet medical care/pet services accounted for 12.4%/28.0%/6.8% respectively. It is expected that in the future, the non-food sector of the pet industry in China will continue to increase in proportion, with the pet medical care sector growing at the fastest rate.
