Li Qiang: China is willing to provide more visa convenience to ASEAN and SCO countries.
On the afternoon of May 27th local time, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang attended the ASEAN-China-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit in Kuala Lumpur. The theme of the meeting was "Creating Opportunities for Shared Prosperity". Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar, the rotating chair of ASEAN, Sabah, the rotating chair of the GCC, and leaders from ASEAN and GCC countries were present. Li Keqiang pointed out that China is willing to strengthen trilateral partnership with ASEAN and GCC, discuss and formulate a high-quality action plan for jointly building the "Belt and Road Initiative", enhance connectivity in infrastructure and market rules, expand cooperation in energy, agriculture, artificial intelligence, digital economy, green and low-carbon fields, promote people-to-people exchanges and mutual understanding. China is willing to provide more visa facilitation for ASEAN and GCC countries. Globally, the three parties should strengthen communication and coordination within multilateral mechanisms such as the United Nations, defend the common interests of developing countries, firmly oppose hegemonism and power politics, and promote global governance towards a more just and fair direction.
