According to reports, Samsung Electronics in South Korea has begun accepting reemployment applications from employees with more than three children who have reached retirement age. This is the first time among the top 10 conglomerates in South Korea that specific reemployment standards have been set for employees with multiple children and formal applications are being accepted. This move is seen as an attempt to address the low birth rate issue in South Korea while balancing social responsibility and acquiring technical talent. According to industry sources on the 25th, Samsung Electronics has recently started accepting reemployment applications from employees with multiple children who are about to retire. This is part of the "Reemployment System for Employees with Three or More Children After Retirement" that was established after negotiations between labor and management in February of this year.
