More than half of the listed home furnishing companies have disclosed ESG reports, with a significant disparity in environmental protection investment.
In the manufacturing industry closely related to public life, the environmental and green attributes of finished home furnishing enterprises continue to attract consumer attention. Reporters have reviewed the ESG information disclosed by 17 A-share listed companies in the concept classification of finished home furnishings in the Wind database. The disclosure rate of ESG reports for listed companies in this field is nearly 53%, with three data missing in the scope of carbon emissions, indicating that overall disclosure needs improvement, and there are significant differences in environmental protection investment amounts among different companies each year. Industry insiders believe that although the overall ESG scores of listed companies in the finished home furnishings sector have improved in recent years and the total number of risk events has decreased, their emphasis on environmental issues still needs to be strengthened. Currently, listed companies in the finished home furnishings sector mainly achieve carbon reduction and green development through increasing the use of clean energy, building green factories, updating transportation vehicles, establishing material recycling systems, innovating product materials, and improving packaging materials. In the future, these listed companies can promote the industry's green transformation through green design, recycling, and other methods.
