In the first four months, water conservancy construction investment exceeded 290 billion yuan.

Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Water Resources has accelerated the implementation of major water conservancy projects with a focus on "double priorities". From January to April, the construction of water conservancy infrastructure in the country has progressed smoothly, with a total investment of 294.36 billion yuan in water conservancy construction. A total of 26,800 water conservancy projects of various types have been implemented nationwide, including 11,149 newly started water conservancy projects. Progress has been made in the construction of major water conservancy projects this year, with projects such as the Yellow River Guxian Water Conservancy Hub and the second phase of the Huai River into the Sea Waterway advancing rapidly. The second phase of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is also accelerating, and once completed, it will provide water source replacement for 28 counties in northern Anhui province.
