Shen-Kai-Hong plans to invest 500 million RMB in the next five years to support the development of Hongmeng open source.

On May 24th, Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. (Kaihong) officially launched the "Open Source Hongmeng Origin Plan". The company plans to invest 500 million yuan in the next five years, and through a four-dimensional service system of "technology empowerment, funding support, marketing promotion, and entrepreneurial acceleration", build a complete support system from application development to commercial landing to create a long-term sustainable innovation environment for developers. It is worth mentioning that Wang Chenglu, CEO of Kaihong, revealed that the KaihongOS desktop version will support X86 architecture devices in the future, marking the continuous evolution of the cross-platform capability of the desktop-level open-source Hongmeng, and further advancing the development of domestically-produced desktop operating systems in China.
