National Bureau of Statistics: In mid-May, the price of live pigs decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous month.

According to the Wise Finance App, the National Bureau of Statistics announced on May 24th that monitoring of the prices of 50 important production materials in 9 major categories in the national circulation sector showed that in mid-May 2025 compared to early May, prices of 24 products rose, prices of 24 products fell, and prices of 2 products remained unchanged. Among them, the price of live pigs (outer three yuan) was 14.7 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7%; the price of soybean meal (crude protein content 43%) was 3026.6 yuan/ton, a decrease of 6.6%.
