Hainan Airlines plans to open a direct flight route from Haikou to Jeddah on June 28. This is the first time that Hainan has opened an international flight to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is reported that Hainan Airlines' Haikou to Jeddah international route plans to operate 3 round-trip flights per week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The outbound flight is scheduled to depart from Haikou Meilan International Airport at 03:30 Beijing time, and arrive at Jeddah International Airport at 08:05 local time, with an estimated flight time of 9 hours and 35 minutes. The return flight is scheduled to depart from Jeddah International Airport at 13:00 local time, and arrive at Haikou Meilan International Airport at 04:00 Beijing time the next day, with an estimated flight time of 10 hours.
