Golden said that Trump's tariff policy is a very wrong way to address the problems facing the United States. He mentioned that the United States does face some real problems, such as unemployment, massive trade deficits, and debt issues, but these problems cannot be solved through tariffs, but rather require different macroeconomic policies and domestic policies to address.
