Alibaba Group Chairman Jack Ma said Asian companies can seek growth from opportunities within Asia and the European market. Ma also pointed out at a technology conference in Macau, China on Saturday that "some governments are trying to break down this bridge we have built between Asia and other regions of the world." Ma told the audience at Beyond Expo, "In fact, there are plenty of business activities and opportunities within Asia, especially between East Asian countries, between East Asia and Southeast Asia, and ultimately expanding to South Asia." He added that Europe presents a "rare opportunity" for Asian companies.
