On the morning of November 8, the centralized procurement signing ceremony of the Large Retail Purchasers Alliance of the Shanghai Trading Group at the 9th China International Import Expo was held. Zhu Min, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government and Deputy Head of the Shanghai Trading Group, pointed out that after nine years of development, the CIIE has produced fruitful results in transactions and debuts, and the intended transaction volume of the Shanghai Trading Group has ranked first among local trading groups nationwide for eight consecutive years. This year's expo has reached a new high in scale, and the Large Retail Purchasers Alliance, as an important part of the Shanghai Trading Group, has grown its membership from 21 at its founding to 45, practicing the concept of "buying globally and selling globally in Shanghai." Representatives of a number of key procurement projects made on-site presentations, focusing on the introduction of high-quality imported consumer goods and fully unleashing the spillover effects of the CIIE. According to incomplete statistics, the Retail Alliance has reached 72 procurement intentions at this year's CIIE.
