On the 24th local time, France held a new round of nationwide protests and demonstrations, and cultural venues in many places were forced to close temporarily that day. The French Ministry of Culture had previously announced that, for safety reasons, cultural venues in Paris, including the Louvre, the Muse d'Orsay, the Muse de l'Orangerie, the Grand Palais, and the Picasso Museum, would be closed on the 24th. As of now, the official websites of the above venues have all confirmed temporary closure on the 24th. Some venues said that visitors who had booked visits through official channels will automatically receive refunds.
