Counterpoint Research preliminary data shows that global PC shipments in Q3 2026 fell 21% year-over-year to 57 million units, down 13.8% quarter-over-quarter. This was mainly due to persistently high costs of memory and other components, which pushed up PC prices and weighed on market demand. Global PC shipments in Q4 2026 are expected to fall 27% year-over-year, and full-year 2027 shipments are expected to be roughly flat compared with 2026. Among them, Lenovo's Q3 2026 shipments were 15 million units, down 23% year-over-year, with a market share of 26.3%; HP ranked second with shipments of 10.3 million units, down 31% year-over-year, with a market share of 18.1%; Dell ranked third with shipments of 7.6 million units, down 25% year-over-year, with a market share of 13.3%; Apple's shipments fell 11% year-over-year to 5.6 million units, with its market share rising from 8.7% in the same period last year to 9.8%; Asus shipped 5.2 million units, down 7% year-over-year.
