Japanese company apologizes for causing a fire in Mongolia
According to a report by Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) today, Japanese telecom operator KDDI has apologized for causing a large-scale grassland fire in a nature reserve in Mongolia. According to NHK, KDDI issued a statement of apology, saying that the relevant activities of its subsidiary Mobicon triggered the fire, stating that it "deeply recognizes that this incident has had a huge impact on Mongolia's natural environment," and will support Mobicon in cooperating with the Mongolian side's investigation.
