First batch of guidelines for AI application scenarios in the water transport sector released

On October 20, the 2026 North Bund International Shipping Forum opened in Shanghai, with a series of government-led achievements unveiled at the opening ceremony. To implement the "Implementation Opinions on 'AI + Transportation'" and focus on "One Network, Four Modernizations," the Ministry of Transport released the first batch of guidelines for AI application scenarios in the water transport sector, along with the top ten intelligent agents and top ten vertical models planned for completion by 2027, accelerating the innovative application of AI in the water transport sector.
