Vice Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation Pan Xiaodong Meets with AmCham China President Michael Hart and Delegation

On October 12, Pan Xiaodong, Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, met with Michael Hart, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, and a delegation of its member companies. The two sides exchanged views on topics including consumer rights protection, fair competition review, and advertising regulation. Pan Xiaodong stated that the State Administration for Market Regulation is willing to work with the American Chamber of Commerce in China to jointly implement the important consensus recently reached by the heads of state of the two countries, and to create a favorable business environment for foreign enterprises, including American-invested companies, to invest and operate in China. Michael Hart stated that the American Chamber of Commerce in China is willing to continue to play its role as a bridge and support the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Responsible officials from relevant departments and bureaus of the State Administration for Market Regulation attended the meeting.
