On October 16, a key milestone was reached in the Xizang Southeast to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area 800 kV ultra-high-voltage direct current transmission project, a national energy project spanning provinces and regions under the 14th Five-Year Plan. Pouring began in Nanning for the first tower foundation of the Guangxi section, and construction of this super project, known as the "green power sky road," is now accelerating across the board.
