External disruptions do not change A-shares' inherent resilience; institutions recommend focusing on targets with earnings certainty.
After the National Day holiday, the A-share market underwent a certain degree of correction. However, on October 9, A-shares staged a "V"-shaped reversal, with the Shanghai Composite Index recovering the 3,800-point mark after briefly losing it, and multiple broad-based ETFs saw sharp increases in trading volume. This week, several brokerages noted in strategy outlook reports that after consecutive corrections, the current pessimistic sentiment in the market has been fairly fully digested, and coupled with sustained domestic policy support, short-term disturbances will not alter the inherent resilience of A-shares. Going forward, as the third-quarter earnings disclosure window opens, structural repair opportunities will still exist in the A-share market in October, and earnings delivery will become the core anchor for market pricing.
