Demand for defensive allocations heats up; dividend funds see wave of purchase restrictions.

Recently, public fund dividend-themed products have seen a comprehensive rise in popularity. On one hand, multiple existing dividend funds have issued purchase restriction announcements, and some new products have ended fundraising ahead of schedule; on the other hand, a number of new dividend-themed products have been filed and launched for issuance one after another, significantly accelerating the pace of industry expansion. Some institutions believe that in the current relatively volatile market environment, dividend assets with strong earnings certainty and ample cash flow may become a relatively stable choice for capital and are expected to strengthen amid the rebalancing between growth and value styles.
