Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said at a Diet session that, given the current economic conditions, Japan does not need to roll out reflationary stimulus measures. She said there is a distinction between her own policies and so-called reflationary policies. The Japanese economy is not currently in a state of deflation. She will communicate prudently with the market in a highly transparent manner to maintain market trust. She maintains full respect for the independence of the Bank of Japan.
