Citi: Muse's scaled revenue is expected to exceed $27 billion; reiterates Meta as top internet pick.

Citi issued a research report stating that usage of Meta's personal AI agent app Muse continues to rise, with cumulative downloads exceeding 6.6 million, daily active users reaching 1.8 million, and it has been the most-downloaded app for 16 consecutive days. Citi believes Meta is leveraging its first-mover advantage and forecasts that once Muse scales up, it could generate over US$27 billion in revenue. The bank noted that Muse is reshaping how users browse, search, compare, and transact on the internet. By saving users time and money and boosting productivity, it is gradually becoming a daily-use tool for users. Citi expects that once monetization begins, Muse will contribute approximately US$168 billion to total online transaction value, and at a 5% commission rate, first-year transaction revenue would reach about US$8 billion. Citi maintains Meta as its top pick in the internet sector, reiterating a "Buy" rating and a target price of US$800.
