Japan's 10-year government bond coupon rate rises to 3.1%, a 30-year high.

Japan's Ministry of Finance raised the coupon annual interest rate, which reflects the proportion of interest paid to buyers in the 10-year government bond auction, from 2.7% for July to September to 3.1% on the 6th, reaching its highest level in about 30 years since the auction on August 21, 1996. The bonds will be issued on the 7th.
