Unit 1 of the Qinghai Huadian Golmud Phase I Coal Power Project was connected to the grid for trial operation.

During the National Day holiday, Unit 1 of the Huadian Golmud Phase I 2660MW coal-fired power project, located in the Kunlun Economic Development Zone of Golmud City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, was successfully connected to the grid and entered the load trial operation stage. This project is the ultra-supercritical coal-fired power project under construction at the highest altitude in China, and is also a key project in Qinghai Province's energy development plan.
