During the first three days of the National Day holiday, demand for new energy vehicle charging was strong, and highway charging infrastructure operated smoothly. From 0:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 3, a statistical analysis of 62,700 highway charging facilities included in the national charging facility monitoring service platform showed that in the first three days of this year's National Day holiday, there were a total of 2.9686 million charging sessions for new energy vehicles on highways nationwide, averaging 989,500 sessions per day, an increase of 48.41% compared with the same period of last year's National Day holiday; charging volume reached 71.6193 million kWh, averaging 23.8731 million kWh per day, an increase of 49.39% compared with the same period of last year's National Day holiday. The penetration rate of green travel during holidays continued to rise, and the trend of people using new energy vehicles for long-distance travel became increasingly evident.
