Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi criticized U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent's remarks about sending envoys to pressure various countries to economically isolate Iran. Gharibabadi wrote on social media: "Other countries decide their relations with Iran based on their own interests and considerations, not by orders from the U.S. Treasury Department." Gharibabadi added that the era of imposing demands through threats and sanctions is "coming to an end."
