Shanxi issues orange hail warning and blue thunderstorm gale warning

On September 26, the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued an orange hail warning. The warning areas are Datong City, Shuozhou City, Xinzhou City, and eastern Yangquan City. Hail weather may occur in the warning areas over the next 6 hours and may cause hail disasters; the blue warning area for thunderstorms and gales is Datong City, Shuozhou City, Xinzhou City, Yangquan City, and northeastern Jinzhong City. Thunderstorm and gale weather is expected in the warning areas over the next 6 hours, with gusts reaching force 7 or above or strong lightning, locally accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and hail.
