Pakistan's Prime Minister Thanks China in UN General Assembly Speech

On September 25 local time, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his speech at the general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, expressed gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping for the four major global initiatives, which Shehbaz believes provide solid pillars for promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Shehbaz stated that Pakistan is opening up new cooperation paths with China through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and is expanding cooperation with the Gulf region, Central Asia, and other regions. During a series of high-level meetings held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on September 23, Shehbaz pointed out that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor complements the priorities in Pakistan's development strategy and has contributed to Pakistan's broader development goals.
