According to DIGITIMES, TSMC's wafer foundry prices are confirmed to rise again. Supply chain sources reveal that TSMC, whose 8-inch fab capacity utilization exceeds 100% and whose sub-45nm process nodes are fully loaded, has order visibility extending to 2030, and has confirmed that starting from January 2027, it will adjust Wafer Out prices according to different process nodes, with increases of about 3~6%. It is reported that the price hikes are higher for advanced process nodes, while mature and specialty process nodes will be individually negotiated based on products, utilization rates, and customer conditions. The Arizona fab in the United States, reflecting high manufacturing costs, will maintain high foundry quotes. TSMC declined to comment on market rumors.
