Hainan issues 5 billion yuan in offshore RMB local government bonds in Hong Kong.

On September 16, Hainan Province issued offshore RMB local government bonds in Hong Kong. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Hainan Provincial Government has issued offshore RMB local government bonds in Hong Kong, and it is also the first offshore RMB bond issuance since the Hainan Free Trade Port began full island-wide independent customs operations. This issuance was mainly aimed at investors in Asia and Europe, and attracted the active participation of 59 institutional investors from 8 countries and regions.
