Baker Hughes Oilfield Services (BKR.O) Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli said that no signs have yet been observed of rising borrowing costs causing a slowdown in investment in large energy projects, and that the global buildout of AI infrastructure is driving strong demand for natural gas and electricity. Simonelli said that although financing remains an important factor in project considerations, population growth, industrial development, and increased energy demand brought by data centers continue to support related investment.
