According to Shen Shi News, on August 18, the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Under the agreement, both parties will engage in deep cooperation in areas such as new infrastructure construction, artificial intelligence, satellite communication, and digital urban governance. On the same day, Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd. and China Telecom Group Investment Co., Ltd. also signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the Financial Times, the head of Libya's National Oil Corporation stated that Libya requires up to $40 billion in investments to develop its oil and gas resources in order to regain its status as one of the world's major crude oil producers.
