The Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption has charged a former manager of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission with the dishonest use of internal information systems.

According to Zhitong Finance APP, the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption filed a case on August 16 against a former manager of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), accusing her of dishonestly accessing the internal information system of the SFC, which involved confidential information related to licensees and SFC investigations. The case was mentioned at the Eastern Magistrates' Courts on August 17.
