Jain Global is expanding its workforce and office space in Asia to welcome the entry of Millennium Capital.
Sources reveal that Jain Global is increasing hiring in Asia and expanding its office space in Hong Kong in preparation to replace existing external capital with funds from Millennium Management. According to insiders, the multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded by Bobby Jain has signed a lease agreement and plans to expand its Hong Kong office by 50% in early 2027. The company currently has around 75 employees in the region, with 60% based in Hong Kong, and the additional space will accommodate 25 more staff members. Recently, the company hired Jordan Miyakawa and Matthieu Millot from IMC Trading and HSBC Holdings, respectively. However, some are departing: insiders indicate that Amir Ravan, a portfolio manager focused on precious metals based in Singapore, is set to leave to take on the role of Head of Commodities at Dymon Asia Capital; Ravan was among the top performers at the company last year. A spokesperson for Jain Global declined to comment.
