Sichuan: Strengthen the core area of computing power in the Chengdu Plain and build a development belt for the integration of computing and electricity in PanxiNorthwest Sichuan.

The Guiding Policies and Measures for Promoting the Construction of Computing Power Networks in Sichuan Province has been released. It mentions strengthening the core area of computing power in the Chengdu Plain. The plan is to enhance the Tianfu Data Center Cluster, focusing on the Chengdu-Chongqing National Computing Power Hub, and to vigorously advance the construction of the computing power core area, primarily in Chengdu, Ya'an, Mianyang, and Deyang; as well as to create the Panxi-Northwest Sichuan integrated development belt for computing and electricity. Support will be provided for Liangshan, Ganzi, Aba, and Panzhihua to leverage clean energy resources to comprehensively lay out large-scale integrated computing power facilities involving "source, grid, load, and storage," creating a development belt focused on non-real-time, transferable computing power needs such as model training, big data analysis, film rendering, and data backup.
