A new daily high of 313,200 passenger trips was reached, with over 11.83 million passengers transported during the first half of the summer travel season in Chengdu.

According to the Sichuan Airport Group, as of August 10, Chengdu's two airports have cumulatively transported 11.8398 million passengers, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year; completed 76,900 flights, an increase of 4.2% year-on-year. On August 1, the daily passenger throughput surged to 313,200, setting a record for the highest single-day passenger flow since this year's summer travel season began.
