J.P. Morgan's Chief Strategist: The Federal Reserve should continue to hold steady. Inflation will gradually decline, and interest rate hikes may trigger asset repricing.
According to Zhitong Ciaojing APP, David Kelly, Chief Global Strategist at JPMorgan Asset Management, stated that the Federal Reserve currently has no need to raise interest rates further and should maintain rates at their current levels. As more signs indicate that the U.S. is struggling to establish a sustained "wage-price spiral," inflation is expected to gradually decline, and excessive tightening of monetary policy may instead bring unnecessary shocks to the economy and financial markets.
