According to information obtained by reporters from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today, China's automobile exports had a remarkable performance in July, continuing a strong growth trend. The latest data released shows that in July this year, automobile exports reached 1.043 million units, a month-on-month increase of 0.6% and a year-on-year increase of 81.3%. Among these, exports of new energy vehicles amounted to 553,000 units, with a month-on-month increase of 5.7% and a year-on-year increase of 145.5%. Reporters noted that after the automobile exports exceeded 900,000 units for two consecutive months in April and May this year, the exports in June and July reached a new milestone, breaking the 1 million units mark for two consecutive months. Moreover, the proportion of new energy vehicle exports has exceeded 50% for two consecutive months. A relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that the reason for the sustained high growth in China's automobile exports is mainly due to the completeness of China's automotive industry chain. From lithium ore processing and battery manufacturing to motor control and vehicle assembly, there is not only sufficient production capacity and controllable costs, but also a strong ability to resist risks in the supply chain. In addition, the intelligence development of China's automotive industry has formed a core competitiveness, and features like smart driving and cockpit interaction can rapidly iterate and accurately adapt to the needs of overseas users. Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, indicated that overall, the current characteristics of China's automobile market show "pressurized domestic demand and strong foreign trade," with exports becoming a key force and core growth engine to stabilize the industry as a whole.
