The practical ship trial for the Pinglu Canal has been initiated, with four test ships currently passing through the Madao Hub lock.

On August 12, the actual ship trial of the Pinglu Canal officially commenced. Four representative test ships, with capacities of 1,000 tons, 3,000 tons, and 5,000 tons, are heading downstream along the main channel of the Pinglu Canal towards the mouth of the canal. Currently, the four test ships are passing through the Maidao Hub ship lock in sequence.
